Your mobile phone goes everywhere you go and these days it’s as much an accessory as your handbag.  Therefore, why not personalize it?  There are plenty of things you can do.  You can change the case, add some cell charms, but the most fun is to personalize your mobile phone with ringtones.

The ringtone is what you and everyone around you hears when your phone rings.  Let different shades of your personality show just by choosing different ringtones for everyone on your phone list.  It’s a lot of fun, and perfect for at least hearing a little bit of your favorite song, or adding a little humor with some interesting sound effects.  No more boring rings.

There are many websites that offer a terrific selection of ringtones.  Some are free, some you pay.  You’ll have to shop around.  To be able to download ringtones your mobile phone needs to have access to the internet. If you phone supports MIDI files, you can actually create your own custom ringtones using your keypad.  Your manual should tell you how to do this.

If you are going to download ringtones, you need to fine your phone and then look for ringtones that will work on your phone.  Not all ringtones work on every phone.  You can download polyphonic and monophonic ringtones.

While you are download ringtones to personalize your mobile phone, why not find custom wallpaper that you like and download that too. It will customize your phone just a little more.  Your wallpaper can be your favorite care, a picture of your kids or dog, or just about anything else, you can think of.  It’s about you – it’s personal.

So rather than packing an out of the box boring mobile phone around, why not personalize it with custom ringtones and wallpaper?
